Fading Contact

29th November, 2018

Inhabiting the Dome, Working Project, Whiteley's, London.

The steam contained us, but then it faded.

Fading Contact explores the fading nature of relations and the self, by way of performing them within the confines of a glass room. Contained from within, the steam vanishes and appears, in turn repeating, if not stylising, a fading contact. The glass screen is an important physical barrier for the audience, allowing for a voyeuristic gaze into the materiality of dissolution.
